Historically, consumers would buy produce directly from the small farms that they knew employed only natural means to yield great tasting food. Sunkist is now bringing that practice back to consumers with its organic program.

Our organic growers and packing houses are certified through the USDA's National Organic Program to provide Certified Organic Citrus directly to the marketplace.

Choosing organic provides a tangible way for consumers to help benefit the environment, local economies, and public health. Organic food supports your health,

It tells you that the Sunkist citrus you're buying was grown using ecologicall based practice and is certified to meet the national organic standards of the USDA.

Current Organic Varieties Available

	Navel Orange The world-famous navel orange has a belly button-like formation opposite the stem, is seedless and peels and segments easily.
	Valencia Orange The king of juice oranges, Valencias are a thin-skinned, small to medium fruit with few seeds.
	Satsuma Mandarin Like tangerines, the Satsuma Mandarin peels and segments easily. It has a pebbly skin, light orange color (often with a tinge of green), with a shape that varies from flat to elongated neck.
	Lemon Available year-round, Sunkist organic lemons come in Lisbon and Eureka varieties. Both have bright yellow skin and the clean, tart flavor that makes lemons a distinctive flavor note in many dishes.
